What are chemical anchor studs used for?

Chemical anchor studs have an angled point on one end to allow the stud to act as a spade to mix chemicals during installation.

How to use Chemical Anchor Studs?

Insert the chemical capsule into the pre-drilled hole.
Put the chemical anchor stud on top of the capsule.
Strike the stud with a hammer to break the capsule.
Use a drill to spin the stud, causing the capsule contents to mix.
Drive the stud to the desired depth and allow the resin to set.

How do you size chemical anchor studs?

Chemical anchor studs are sized by both their thread size and their overall stud length. For example, a chemical anchor stud with thread size of M16 and thread length of 165mm, you would order a M16x165 chemical anchor stud.
